Instruction for poster presenters
Presenters are asked to take note of the following guidelines when producing their poster. We kindly ask that you be at your poster to answer questions during the poster viewing times indicated in your acceptance letter and the conference programme.
REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES POSTER PRESENTATION
Poster session: Thursday, March 20, 13:00-14:00 hrs
- The poster must be produced in portrait or landscape orientation.
- The poster board dimensions are 195 x 125 cm.
- The recommended poster size is A0, which measures 841 mm × 1189 mm (approximately 33.1 inches × 46.8 inches).
- Your assigned poster number (paper reference) will be displayed on the poster boards in the designated poster area.
- You may attach the poster using thumbtacks, which will be provided by the venue.
- All posters are available for the participants to view in the poster area, during all coffee and lunch breaks.
- During the poster session we ask you to be present at your poster for questions.
- Posters must be mounted on Thursday, March 20, before 09:00 AM.
- Poster removal is required by Friday at the latest, 06:00 PM.
- Any posters not removed by the author by the end of the day will be disposed of.
- Please note that the venue or the organisation will not provide printing services for posters and posters cannot be sent as packages to the venue.
- The nearest print shop to the venue is Lowie Kopie.
REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES PITCH
Poster flash talks (pitches): Thursday, March 20, 12:10 – 12:30 hrs
- You may use a maximum of one slide for your pitch.
- The slide must be in PowerPoint format, 16:9 aspect ratio.
- Please send your slide by March 17th to registration@congresscare.com.
- Your pitch is limited to one minute.
- Please take a seat in the front row at the beginning of the session.
- Line up in the queue so we can proceed quickly after each pitch.
- Your abstract reference number indicates the order in which you need to make your presentation.
