We’re thrilled to announce the first of a new conference series that focusses on the clinical implementation of whole genome and transcriptome sequencing in routine care to enable more personalized treatment. Several large national initiatives come together to co-host this 2 day conference in Amsterdam

Target Audience
- Medical specialists in oncology domain interested in genomics and precision medicine
- Molecular pathologists
- Cancer genomics researchers
- Genomics data scientists, computational biologists
- Healthcare professionals from various countries
There will be a maximum of 450 participants. Admittance will be on first come, first serve basis.
Sessions, topics and speakers
There will be 4 sessions with invited speakers and abstract selected speakers. The following topics will be covered:
- Current state of the art: Overview of European national cancer whole genome sequencing initiatives and EU 1+MG
- The clinical perspective: implementation and impact
- The research perspective: Big data analyses and impact on clinic
- The future perspective: data-driven cancer care
For the last three sessions, several speakers will be selected based on submitted abstracts. Before the first poster session, there will be poster flash talks allowing poster presenters to pitch their work.
Posters and abstract-selected speakers
You can highlight your own research with a poster. Submission of an abstract is obligatory for this. The program committee will also select speakers for a contribution to sessions 2, 3 and 4 (see program) based on the abstracts. You can indicate preference for poster only or poster/oral during registration.
Abstract should be no longer than 500 words, submitted in word format during registration. It is not possible to submit an abstract without a registration for the conference.
Abstact sumbission deadline is January 15, 2025. The abstacts will be published from the 3rd of March 2025.
Pre-meeting workshop
We will organize a pre-meeting workshop on Wednesday March 19th focused on comprehensive analysis of cancer genomics data and international standardization and data sharing. The functionality, use and future directions of the open source and multiplatform nf-core Oncoanalyser pipeline will be discussed in plenary and interactive sessions. The workshop is free-of-charge, but number of seats is limited. Participation is only possible in combination with attending the CCG2025 meeting.
Opportunities to interact and social events
Coffee and tea breaks, lunches and poster sessions provide ample opportunities to interact with other participants, speakers and sponsors.
At the end of the first day, a reception and walking dinner is organized. The second and last day is concluded with drinks and snacks. Both social events are included in the registration.
